Re: Natalie Wright Curley’s defense of Steven Curley

In her written response to one of my posts, Natalie wrote:

Did you know that the police could find nothing on Dr. Curley or Mr. Lehman’s computers linking them to this crime? Did you know that even though their divorce has been final over three years, that she is still trying to extract money from him?

1). It seems that Dr Curley and Mr Lehmann”s computers may not have been the issue, but rather the computers owned by the University and/or MD Anderson. Dr Curley’s lawyer originally filed a motion asking for the hard drives and other evidence that the police had collected as part of their investigation. Their March 5 motion, however, is more specific. (See attached image of the filed motion)

2. As for “still trying to extract money from him”, I see in the documents related to the divorce of Karen Beaty and Steven Curley, that she did file to collect for an asset (a vehicle) that was hidden from her during divorce proceedings. As women who have been through a divorce, attorney Natalie and I should both be aware of that little clause about hidden assets in a divorce.

Since the motion requesting evidence from the university police wasn’t filed until March 5, 2014, I would guess that the April 15, 2014 scheduled trial date for both Steven Curley and Hank Lehmann will be rescheduled again.
