Dr Steven Curley trial postponed

A search of the Harris County District Courts website revealed that the trial for former MD Anderson doctor accused of installing E-Blaster on his wife’s computer during their divorce, has been delayed.

Instead of going to trial today (01/22/2014) his criminal case is set to go before Judge Maria Jackson of the 339th District Court in Harris County on 02/26/2014.

  1. Dr. Curley is the most compassionate, kind, brilliant Doctor I have ever encountered. He was my Mother’s surgeon. I had her almost 10 yrs. longer because of this man. He kept her as a patient when surgery was no longer an option. Even, when, hospice was the last option, he said he would still continue to see her if she wished. I hope he can continue doing his work.

    • You and your mother were very lucky to have had such a caring doctor. I agree, and hope that Dr. Curley has many years of bringing compassionate care and innovative cures to the people that need him. If he is found innocent of the charges, I will be the first to apologize.

Please understand how very difficult it is to have someone actually arrested for this crime. Warrants aren’t issued because someone thinks their husband is spying on them. Forensics are run on the victim and installers devices, the software companies are subpoenaed for ip addresses, billing, customer service correspondance…and that’s for a simple case.

Thank you for taking the time to write and share your story of Dr. Curley as an excellent doctor. I promise that I am trying to find the most recent disposition of all of the cases I mention here. I don’t want to simply yell about an arrest, and not follow up with how it actually turned out – probation, prison, exonerated, falsely accused.

Thank you again, and please feel free to send links to any news story relating to his case to make sure I get all sides!

  2. My ex husband is a private eye and he installed eblaster during our divorce and won a bunch of my money because of it. He broke into my home, photographed my desk and notes and then sent everything he found out to all his lawyer friends and his lover.

      • I wouldn’t know. My attempts to reach him weren’t exactly successful. His current wife has a law office. Baylor probably, but getting through to him might be a pain. Akesogenx is technically his, although I doubt he is at the office in Denver.

Sorry. I’m pretty sure your interest in him is quite different than mine.

      • I am not a private investigator. Just another woman who was a victim of an ex husband’s compulsion to use illegal means to feed his need to “know” everything. Much like Mrs. Curley. Not the current, patent lawyer one. Not the first wife, who committed suicide. The middle one….the researcher and oncology nurse, who had her reputation smeared by a man who takes playing god rather too seriously – in my opinion.

      • Wow! Well that is unfortunate for sure. He was highly recommended to me but I may have to rethink his personal values. That is not the kind of dr I want. Thanks for your honesty.

  3. Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you knew of any widgets
I could add to my blog that automatically
tweet my newest twitter updates. I’ve been looking for a
plug-in like this for quite some time and was hoping maybe you would have some experience with something like this.
Please let me know if you run into anything. I truly enjoy reading your
blog and I look forward to your new updates.

    • Sorry, this is my first blog experience, and I simply use the tools WordPress has available. Their Twitter widget has gotten me more traffic than anything else I’ve done…well, maybe except for being a very squeaky wheel!
